Your organization implemented RF data collection for all the right reason: productivity, increased accuracy, real-time data entry and the reduction of paperwork. In some cases, pick lists are still being used to double-check stock that has been picked and staged for shipment.

Some common examples include when a receiving activity requires the employee to find the digital camera to document the condition of a shipment that has shifted in transit; when an outbound shipment needs to be Quality Inspected for accuracy in product and quantity the pick list is often used to capture the verification signature; or when the outbound shipment is loaded and the bill of lading needs to be photocopied and signed by the driver.
