Abaco’s Mobile Service and Maintenance product provides your service and maintenance technicians to be on-line and real time with the SAP back end for quickly and accurately executing planned or unplanned work orders, confirming time and material, reserving material for a given work order, performing material searches, update order status…all in a real time mode to your native SAP content such as Plant Maintenance, Mobile Asset Management, Field Service, etc. This eliminates the cost and overhead of configuring and supporting the daily batch synchronization process as well as eliminating the need to push large amounts of data to and from a mobile device.

In addition, we provide the technicians with the ability to continue to work on their orders and input data even if they are occasionally disconnected from SAP. Because your technicians are mobile and may have to execute a work order in areas that may not have wireless coverage, Abaco’s CDSA function allows them to seamlessly execute their orders and will automatically detect when the wireless coverage is available. Data is then pushed to SAP from the mobile device without any intervention from the technician, allowing them to continue to work without having to remember if they sent the data or not.

Where it’s needed, we can provide the location of the technical object or equipment and display that to the technician in the form of a Google Maps, with directions and contact information.
